In August of 2023, after Jessica’s passing, many people asked if there would be any type of scholarship or foundation created in Jessica’s name. At the time, our priority was making sure that her husband and boys were taken care of and provide stability for them in their world that had just been turned upside down. Since that time, they have moved twice and changed schools three times and our focus has remained unchanged: provide as much stability and love as possible.
Because our focus was on her family, and it was “all hands-on deck” for Daniel, Angela and David, we did not have the time to take up such a worthy cause. However, our circumstances have recently changed, and we want to honor Jessica’s memory in a way that is meaningful. We hope the creation of this scholarship will make as much of a difference for the recipients as it has for us in creating it and for those who have helped support her memory through their contributions.
